The Kitchen Collection, LLC is committed to achieving the highest standards of legal and ethical conduct for itself and its directors, officers and employees.  At Kitchen Collection, the cornerstone of our commitment to these high standards of corporate responsibility is a mandated Social Accountability Policy that we insist on adherence to as a minimum requirement to do business with our organization.

This Policy is shared with and agreed to by our manufacturing and business partners as the baseline for doing business with us.  Our commitment to responsible sourcing allows us to provide value oriented high quality products to consumers in an ethical way. 

Applicability of this Policy to partners is outlined below:

This Policy is applicable to all Factories manufacturing and supplying Kitchen Collection with finished goods and will serve as the basis for the ongoing assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of a Factory’s employment practices and legal compliance.  All Factories are expected to operate in full compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the country(ies) of manufacture, including, but not limited to, those related to labor, employee health and safety, and the environment.  Where there are differences or conflicts between this Policy and the laws of the country(ies) of manufacture, we expect our Factories to adhere to the more stringent standard. 

Key Points of the Policy:

·         Zero Tolerance of Child Labor

·         Zero Tolerance of Forced Labor

·         Zero Tolerance of Harassment or Abuse

·         Zero Tolerance of Transshipment/Country of Origin-( Factories shall not use transshipment from second tier suppliers or subcontractors as a means to avoid policy)

·         Anti Discrimination

·         Compensation and Benefits

·         Hours of Work and Overtime

·         Working Conditions/Health and Safety

·         Environment

·         Management Systems
